This kind of saw blades are collectively called universal saw blades. Cutting ceramic tiles is only an incidental function of the universal saw blades. Because the applicability of these two types of saw blades is very wide. Therefore, for cutting ceramics tiles with low requirements for edge verticality and flatness, we can choose this kind of saw blade. However, if the edge corners of the ceramics tiles require very good flatness, no chipping, no missing corners, then the use of narrow T-shaped saw blade is undoubtedly more in line with the cutting requirements of ceramics tiles.
For ceramic saw blades with a diameter of 250-450mm, the cold pressing process is gradually converted to a high frequency welding process. High frequency welding process is the focus of this article, and it is also the most common and most stable ceramic cutting product. In terms of the diamond segment shapes of saw blades with a diameter of 250-450mm, there are mainly three diamond segment shapes, let's take a look one by one:
The first type is the J-slot saw blade. The diamond segment is closely connected to the next diamond segment. Below the narrow gap which is the blank blade part of the saw blade, there is a gap that is curved like a fish hook (like the letter J). The advantage of this kind of saw blade is that the gap is very narrow, which can ensure that there is no chipping during the cutting process of the saw blade and at the same time make the saw blade have a certain sharpness. In terms of the diamond segment, first, it is necessary to ensure that the diamond segment adopts a fan-shaped diamond segment. The upper arc-shaped cutting surface has a longer length, and the lower arc welding surface has a slightly narrower length, forming a typical fan-shaped cutting surface. Because the J-slot saw blade has a good guarantee of the continuity of the diamond segment, it is very worthy of attention in terms of its sharpness. Therefore, in terms of diamond segment design, it is necessary to choose a higher grade diamond for fast cutting of ceramic tiles. In terms of bond binder, the choice of cobalt bond will be better than copper bond. Because of using better materials and larger dosages, so under normal circumstances, the price of the ceramics tile cutting J-slot saw blade is slightly higher than the price of the marble cutting saw blade.
The second type, narrow T-shaped, this kind of saw blade is a relatively uncommon shape, and the main shape of the diamond segment is more consistent with the shape of the diamond segment of the J-slot saw blade. However, in the part of the blank blade, along the narrow gap, there is a square, racetrack or oval round hole. In the actual cutting process, the high-speed rotating saw blade can quickly use the resilience of the saw blade to keep the diamond segment in a tight state. While ensuring the saw blade has good continuity, it can ensure that the diamond segment has a relatively higher cutting performance. At present, narrow T-shaped saw blade is in a period of rapid rise, and it is believed that this kind of saw blade will become more popular in the future. In terms of diamond segment design, you can refer to the pattern of the J-slot saw blade, but since the hole in the middle of the narrow T-shaped saw blade can be used for heat dissipation, the diamond segment can also be directly using laser weld for dry cutting of ceramic tiles with good results.
The third type is the narrow U shape. The shape of the narrow U-shaped diamond segment is also fan-shaped. But in terms of the gap between the diamond segments, there is a very obvious gap. This cutting gap will extend along the diamond segment all the way down to the blank blade part, and there is a small U-shaped under the blank blade. The narrow U shape saw blade is different from the above two types ceramics saw blades. In terms of cutting ability, this kind of saw blade is sharper in feeding depth due to its larger cutting edge. In terms of continuity, it is easy to be chipping. There are two situations to ensure that this type of diamond segment can be perfectly applied to the ceramics saw blade. The first type can further increase the sharpness of the diamond segment, so that the diamond segment can quickly form a cutting groove during the process of feeding, without the saw blade segment being unsharp and chipping. The second type: the cutting stability can also be maintained by reducing the feeding depth and speeding up the cutting speed, but the blank blade needs to have good ductility and toughness. Therefore, in addition to the factors of the diamond segment, the ceramic saw blade also needs to consider the factors of the blank blade.
In general, there are three main types of saw blades for ceramic cutting saw blades. Each of these three products has its own advantages, and the matching diamond segment products are different, which will also give the saw blade a completely different cutting ability. Therefore, the selection of the diamond segment of the ceramic tile cutting saw blade is very important.
